SHO system advice?

Hey all, I have a 1995 Ford Taurus SHO, and right now I am running two Lanzar 10's and an equally cheap amplifier in a bandpass box. I believe the amp puts out around 180 watts or so, I could look more closely if I need to. My question is, I would like some more bass in my music, because right now I the subs cannot play well if I turn up the volume to what most would call a loud level. I paid 120 for the amp, subs, and box, so I would probably be upgrading if I got anthing else.

The catch is, I have a pretty limited budget of about $300 for the sub and amp, and it needs to be able to fit in a space between the battery (which has been moved to teh trunk) and the pposite wall of the trunk, I can measure if necessary. What would I be ale to get that would it in that space and still let me be able to be noticed with my bass? I want to be abel to not just hear it, but feel it as well. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

welcome to the world of car audio. For starters most bandpass set-up **** ***. You probably wanna go with a single 12" sub in a ported box. Try look at the maw12

sixfootman, an ATX or an MTX? And thanks for the ideas, I just have to get my car back so I can hear my "system" again, lol. That and a Kia Sportage is a dramatic step down. So one 12 will get me in the ballpark of what I am looking to do here? And how much power would I need in order to get noticed? Thanks!
