Hey guys, I just recently bought a 1998 jeep cherokee...it has a very old out-dated pioneer head unit in it right now that is very basic, 2 door speakers and the previous owner removed the 2 rear speakers. I'm looking to get 2 new rear speakers, a new head unit, maybe an amp and 1 or 2 subs, and i'll probably end up replacing the door speakers too...does anybody have some good suggestions as to what i should buy for a nice quality sound, i'm not really looking for how loud it is that doesnt really matter...also, price doesnt really matter, but nothing too expensive...thanks

Well I have no idea what size the speakers you need but I would go with Infinity. Ebay has Infinity all half price then what you would pay retail at a store like circuit city. As for a head unit I would go with an Alpine of your choice since they have so many functions. Thanks, I was actually looking at Alpine head units so I guess I was right there...and front and rear are both 6 1/2's...I was just looking at the RE's, how expensive are the XXX's? I can't find any prices...

-edit- yeah...i just saw that prices thread below this, those xxx's are lookin a bit too expensive for me, what are some good 10's or 12's below $150 a piece?

Go with ARC Audio - tremendous SQ at a reasonable price.
