Setting up everything, JF get over here!!

For 5.1 or 7.1? Ehh...for the show off factor, I guess. For movies there really isn't a point. I don't think you're as concerned about the SQ of the film //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

2 channel audio is a different story.

Well I just hooked everything up and it wangs!!!

Thanks a lot JF

I got that 2 channel HK

RTi's 4" bookshelfs by polk, I like them alot, even though you dont like polk. Sound good to me, but I dont know what to listen for

8" DD 1008, taking 380w from a rythmic audio plate amp like a champ

1.2 cubes ported to ~25hz

Illl have some up tonite.

I think I want to cover the box with veneer (sp?)

Spray paint looks okay...

And Ill meter the setup in a room thats probably 20x15x18 high(at largest point)

For box finishing, you might want to check out truck bedliner...

The way to apply it would be to prime the box, sand, prime again, sand, prime, sand, oh, did I mention sand? You want to keep decreasing the grit of sandpaper you use, until you get a nice smooth finish...remembering to fill in all the screwholes. After that, put two coats of spray-on truck bedliner on the enclosure. Comes out rather well. Although a properly-done veneer job is also excellent.

you mean increasing //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

no, decrease grit 'til it's shiny, clear, invisible, GONE! j/k

Fan, take a pic....pics, pics.

I'm not a glass guy yet, but my old school Kenwood 2-channel amp is rated at 230rms@8ohms with .008% THD.

Car vs Home - two WAY different environments.

Porting for HT I thought was done REAL low, like 18-20hz to get output, but still able to reproduce 'sub' sonic freq. no?

that doesnt make any sense. you should want to go finer grit everytime...not take off more everytime (that doesn't polish shit)

ok, you and him are just looking at it from different directions

he says decrease the grit as in decrease the roughness of the paper

you say increase the grit as in increase the number rating

it was a joke....see the J/K on the end??? I've done a couple Corian projects that require hi-grit, wet sanding, messsaaaayy.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
