I've got a low range kenwood hu. Kdc-mp243 -

I've just got 2 sets of speakers plugged into it and I dont expect much since I dont have an amp.
But I'd like to do a bit of fine tuning with the unit until I get my hilux roadworthy.
The things I can change are -
Bass
Treble
Mid range
The minimum setting is -8 and maximum is +8
I've been told this is good.
Bass - 8
Treble + 8 (makes volume louder???)
Midrange - 3
is that good or is their a better combo.
The speakers are some 4 inch worthless speakers but they will do for the time being. I am not interested in new gear until I can get the hilux on the road.
