Hey guys have another question. I have my HDS215 D2 in a custom built box tuned to 35hz have it wired to 4ohm on a infinity reference 1211a I have my LPF at about 80 my question is where do I set the highpass? It sounds good and doesn't clip (according to clip light) even with the gain all the way up (I have it at just over half way) but I noticed if I turn HPF down amp clip light starts flashing on heavy bass notes

high pass = subsonic filter. Needs to be set at 0.75 x box tuning so around 26hz for you. If you had it too high, its basically a -12 db cut to the frequencies close to its setting. When you have it high up around 40hz or something, its attenuating (lowering) the sh*T out of all your bass thats why you can turn the gain up high its because of it acting as a limiter. Set the subsonic filter properly and set the gain properly afterwards.

Basic simple rule is If you turn it up and it stops getting louder. STOP You are already clipping, back it off.
