Cant I mess up my sub if I use a - tone?0 db tones with bass is gonna be really light output use a 50 hz -6 or a 50 hz -10 if you listen to rock.
u won't hurt the sub going over 250...unless u have one hela spike or clipping...Cant I mess up my sub if I use a - tone?
Would the gains be set lower if I used a 50HZ tone? If so how do I know something like that wont come up in a song and make my amp go over 250 RMS then blow my sub?
correct...with that hardware, you would have to run the amp bridged at 4ohm... and turn the gains down...wait...that is 500 max? or 500 rmsThis is what my amp can do
125 watts RMS x 2 chan. @ 4-Ohm Stereo
250 watts RMS x 2 chan. @ 2-Ohm Stereo
500 watts MAX x 1 chan. @ 4-Ohm Bridged
I have it bridge because 250 watt RMS at 2 OHM would not he enough to power a 250 watt RMS sub at 4 Ohms right?
