6x8 is the stock size in most Ford trucks. Don't bother with the rears. Having mids and highs coming from behind you is not great in general and worse with the factory locations in Ford trucks.

2 way with the mid in the stock location and tweeter up high worked OK in a couple 250s I've done. Kicker makes some serviceable ones if you're on a budget the JBL club is a good bit nicer but more money.

Crutchfield sells plug and play adapters so that you won't have to cut the factory plugs in the doors (they're only a couple bucks) and you can get Q-forms kickpanels for many of the Ford trucks which I would recommend if you aren't afraid to spend the money and need the extra output from an extra set of components.
