If you are set on something you better get it, because if you buy something else chances are you are still going to end up getting what you wanted and you are going to spend double the money. If I could afford a pair of those, s**t even one of them I would get it.

dude W7's hit so ****ing hard, if you're set on that--do it. And, you better be prepared to hook your shit up powerwise, because you're def gonna need constant juice flowing to maintain them and the amps your gonna have to have to push 'em. An another note-- You might consider getting your alternator rewound if you haven't already--or get a bigger one or just run 2 but you either have to find brackets to fit your vehicle or custom make 'em. otherwise your vehicle is gonna look like a christmas tree down the road with your lights flashing. Your gonna spend some serious cash. That's the only thing that I could say for you to consider something different..

If you are set on them, just save up the money you need to buy them. I have made that mistake before, buying stuff for the MEANTIME and end up buying what I originally wanted. That is the main reason I have so much junk laying around my house.

If you want good sounding SQ subs these are them. Only thing is they are f****n expensive. Everytime you hear your FIRST, it may always seem the best. For the w7 being your first you heard one of the best out there.

Ha. Well here's why im probably set on them. I heard my cousins 12W7, and loved it. Problem is, thats the only sub I've heard..except my logitech for my computer..which isnt really car audio. I know I know..ashame I've heard only one sub, but don't hate, rather help.

since its the only setup you have heard try going to audio shops and listening to other people setups. then if you still stuck on w7's get them

well last i checked they were like $999.00 MSRP, and you're probably going to want to run 2 of 'em.. N', you can get 'em off the net for like 500-700 dollars, which aint bad for the quality of speaker you're getting--

Kicker 2500/1

Hifonics XX Hercules 2000/1 amp

or you can spend an easy grand an a half on

1 rockford Fosgate 3000/1 amp

The cheaper alternative would be the xxx. You chould get them for half the price and I'm sure you would love them. I like my xxxs more than any w7 setups I've heard.

If hes getting 13w7 s hes going to more than likely wanna run them in a seperate chamber box and just use 2 amp s to run them.. 2 13w7 s in series parralel can be run at 1.5 ohm s or about .35 -.4 ohms parralel. Its up to you.. the rf amps are nice but the coil configuration sucks on w7 s .. If u want to get full power out of your amp get one that s 2 ohm stable and run it @ 1.5 .. or the t3000 will probably be putting out a lil over 1200 rms per channel, which is right around were the 1000/1 s are.. Tough choice, but keep in mind u want at least 1000 rms, we've ran them at 2000 rms dailt off A t2000 and it sounded great.. and imo, the T2000 is much more bang for the buck than a T3000

oh yea i almost forgot.. About the 100 farad cap ???? lol, no comment u get a good alt re do ur electrical and a good battery, you will have zero problems with a T2000 and most everything under that.. When i first started i had a stock alt 105 amp, and stock bat, (die hard) and i had basically no problems with my 1000/1 and that amp is real inefficient and draws somw major current, 2 t2000 s or 2 1000/1 s and your gonna maybe want an extra battery back there as well as the alt , big 3 and bat under the hood

Yess'ah, I wouldn't run 'em in a dual box, blow the ****er apart ! haha, jk erm, single ported boxes would be good, but your def gonna need first off is to get what your gonna have to have to power them total you're probably gonna end up spending 3-4k on that little bit of setup an your gonna need to setup a tab with the local police department for your noise polution fines hahaha
