L5 power limitations

I was just wondering if it would be safe to run a Hifonics BX1800D at 2 ohms to a single 15" L5. Maybe just use a dmm to set the gains rite and then turn the gains down a lil bit? what do you guys think would it be a safe thing to do?

It will be fine if you set your gains with a DMM

The sub is rated at 750rms I would throw no more than 800rms at it.

box is in the process of being designed. But for now it is in a sealed 3.9065^3ft before driver displacement.soon to be in a 32hz tuned box around 3^3ft

sealed they will hanlde the power better, but with that much power daily ported, you may want to step up to the L7.
