My current setup consist of (2) Selenium 8W4P and (1) Selenium ST350 per door - Nexus 7 as headunit with Clarion EQS746. Car is a 2006 Dodge Charger.

The list below is what I am leaning towards. I will be doing the majority of my own glass work and yes I will be purchasing a Pioneer DEH 80PRS to run active. I need to first figure out the speaker configuration then move towards the amp purchase.

Front Stage - Front Doors

Option 1

(3) Selenium 8W4P and (1) Selenium ST350 per door

Option 2

(1) Selenium 10PW3-SLF (2) Selenium 8W4P (1) Selenium ST350 per door

Rear Stage

Option 1 - Rear Deck

(4) Selenium 8W4P and (2) Selenium ST350 in rear deck

Option 2 - Rear Deck

(2) Selenium 10PW3-SLF and (2) Selenium ST350 in rear deck

OR

Rear Stage - Rear Door

Option 1 - Rear Door

(1) Selenium 10PW3-SLF and (1) Selenium ST350 per door

Option 2 - Rear Door

(1) Selenium 8W4P and (1) Selenium ST350 per door

Who da fug is this guy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wow.gif.23d729408e9177caa2a0ed6a2ba6588e.gif Been a minute, hit me up via PM....

Id run it this way:

Each front door:

2 Eminence Delta 10s

1 ST350

Each rear door:

1 Delta 10

1 St350

Rear Deck:

2 Delta 10s

2 ST350s

Run a Lanzar OptiDrive 700x2 on the mids, with 4 mids per channel, wired to 2ohm stereo. Something smaller on the tweeters, that will do around 250x2 @ 2ohm. These crossovers settings should get you close, then just EQ from there:

Mid HPF:

100hz

24db/oct

Mid LPF:

4.15khz

6db/oct

Tweeter HPF:

3.15khz

24db/oct

Ive ran many setups with Selenium and Eminence, among other brands. Between the options you are debating, the Deltas are better speakers hands down. I had almost this exact setup in my doors, with an 800PRS, and these settings with some EQing got myself some KILLER sound. Very smooth, quality, flat, and loud.

Thanks for your reply... I was trying to stay with Selenium since I already had the brand but since you have the experience with both drivers. Then I guess deltas are the way to go... Dope vids on Youtube been following you for a minute...

These are the deltas model your speaking of... Eminence Delta-10A 10

Yes, I know my car was dirty... This picture was taken a few months ago....

This was the first time I have ever done any fiberglassing and it was in the middle of the winter with no heat. (2 years ago)

Considering what your substage is the Seleniums will be more then enough and save you some $$$....
Ok so for Seleniums which options would you go with based upon first post???

all your options will work. I'd base it more off what will be the hardest to install/implement. The selenium 10's get quite loud. Joker's Caddy has a single 10 in each door and keeps up no problem and he does mid 50's on music...

Id sit down and figure out exactly what all you will be installing for amperage consumption and add another 10-15% amperage useage on top of that...
