Sorry about the amp Scott.Wish we could have gotten it figured out.

We were able to get the amps to stay on with the volume at a lower setting on the deck.I think 45 was the highest before the amp would protect.It was only the one amp though that would protect.

Jake I have a question for ya.When strapping those amps does the phase need to be adjusted on the slave amp?Or should all settings be at at 0?

The pics of the open amp is the bad one that will not come out of protect. I am getting another PC2150 today for the front, & the reason I have not done so yet is because of room issues. I am going to be working on that fitting issue all day trying to make that fit..........

I am also gonna try a couple more test box's that I was showing you on my laptop @ the show aswell & hopefully be ready for this weekends Maxxsonics shows.

Slave amp doesn't need any adjustment at all.

You'll get it in thereMaybe take the RT to an auto parts store and have it load tested just to see if its still good?Just to rule out if it is or isn't part of the problem.It may be holding a charge but when its dis chared its pulling current from the 2150 instead of suppling it.

I know that one 2150 can support those amps though for a short burp.Do you charge it on a charger any before you go to shows or do you just let the alt do the work?

With the hybrid setup it may not be suffeciently charging?

Slave amp doesn't need any adjustment at all.

that's what I thought the master controlled everything.Just trying to narrow it down.

How are they wired to the subs by the way ? May gain wiring them UP and sustaining way less voltage drop.

I am only running the dual 2ohm 12's to a 1.3 ohm load with the 3 of them.

Thats an awefull lot to demand from your stock alt. I have ALOT less and sometimes think about an alt upgrade. As much as you have spent, might as well get an upgraded alt, unless your just deadset on your competition class. I'm sure you've done some research though.

I am only running the dual 2ohm 12's to a 1.3 ohm load with the 3 of them.

1.3 total so 0.67 per amp... DCR roughly 0.46 each.

Not much else we can do without wiring all three subs in series (not suggested).

Its wierd that only the slave amp goes into protect??
