Recomend a small footprint powerful amp

I am looking to replace 2 JL 500/1 with something with about the same power and maybe a little bigger footprint (needs to fit into my spare tire area). I dont want the mini or micro amps. Just looking for something to power 2 maybe 3 10" Image Dynamics IDQ V3's. Must be 1 ohm stable and have decent SQ.

Maybe upgrade to the JL HD 750/1? Not sure how it will like 1 ohm, though. It definitely has a small footprint.

For the size of the amp you wont get any more power than you will with SD. Look into the SD1000.1D.
