you know my setup. i have a voltmeter hooked up to the 0gauge right at the amps input. its gone into protect at 13.7 before also at 12.9 and 13.3 it varies and i know its correct i checked also with a multimeterI'll bet you both are discharging your batteries super fast on that low note check voltage at the amp when that note hits
But have you watched the voltage and seen how far it went down when the amp went into protect That's what you need to know. Even if it's just a split second if your not watching when it does go into protect you might still see a 13.8 I had a system do the same a few years back as soon as I turned it up and it hit this one certain bass note the amp would protect. My voltage always looked good. But I was told to watch the voltage at the amp when playing the song. And sure enough when it played that heavy bass note. I dropped from 14.4 to 8 volts quickly. The amp protected. And the voltage went back to 14.4 right afteryou know my setup. i have a voltmeter hooked up to the 0gauge right at the amps input. its gone into protect at 13.7 before also at 12.9 and 13.3 it varies and i know its correct i checked also with a multimeter
a few times it hasnt even been on a deep bass not its probably 45hz. and i have watched it closely. ill troubleshoot with josh monday and call you jimBut have you watched the voltage and seen how far it went down when the amp went into protect That's what you need to know. thats that ish i do needdon't they make a dip volt meter that will do a hold at the lowest point? maybe I'm making things up in my head but I could swear I've heard of a dvm before.
*edit* I may be a retard on this one, can't find anything... but if there are meters that will hold the low point as opposed to the high point that could help.
Yea let me know. It's a nice amp I never had an issue never ever protected oncea few times it hasnt even been on a deep bass not its probably 45hz. and i have watched it closely. ill troubleshoot with josh monday and call you jim
