Saying bye to DD.

no **** sherlock. you think amplifiers don't have the same type of reconstruction? they all amplify the signal they all do it differently. some are higher roesolution than others.lower noise floors more dynamic better stereo separation. although there really isn't a spec for it like bitrate things like SN ratio, slew rate, damping ratio amount countless other measurable parameters that describe how well the amp does certain things. that being said any highend amp is going to surpass most of the audible limits but to say D even substandard amps will sound as good as amp that have feedback to increase damping lower noise floors to separation of supply and outputs(optically is t he best IMO) has individual power supplies for each stereo channel etc. make a audible difference.
Go make the poll. Or shut up

Other than my buddy smoking coils clipping, he really likes his v4. He likens it to a w6 with more output.

Hes running ported on a 500/1 and he says full tilt is too loud to just drive around like that for extended periods

I wasn't expecting that much from a sealed 12 but the box is quite large and it's a decent amount of power.

All he matches is power. He said he only added EQ if asked to.
kinda goes against the testing done in head fi forums. though. there's differences in almost any amp but its very minor at the upper eschelons but large variations in the midrange amplifiers. in pink noise rtas it changed the whole headphone's curve slightly and its not even tube amps.

I do want to change amps one day. But not for the sound, for the image factor.

I'm almost certain a SQ judge will judge a car different when they see "SQ" amps and "SPL" amps.

And they have to see them because they have to inspect the install.

There's been a few times when I showed the amps after and the old school guy wouldn't except the fact not only are they not a SQ brand but they are class D. Rather expensive class D but none the less, class D.
