You do notice you are agrueing aspects of sound quality with someone that competes and wins in sound quality when you yourself has no idea how a sound quality build even works? Or has no idea what sound quality even is.

This is why I'm not paying any attention to what you say.

If I didn't know what I was doing I wouldn't have wins and my car wouldn't do what it does.

I'm not saying it perfect, it does have a few rattles that keep fighting me. But that has nothing to do with what you are saying.

This thread was doing just fine until you came in and had to have your say. Not everyone agrees with you....and doubt that will even happen.

Seems to me these guys KNOW what they're doing and just by reading their replies, they got past the basics easily.

Time for final thoughts. I got up early and took the long way to work.

DD at 1ohm-1700rms

ID at 2ohm- so less then that

The DD 2508sc, 1.25 ported at 35hz. More

The IDQ12v4, 1.8 sealed. No cuts needed. Having natural 40hz output.

With the MS-8 not having to level down the mid range I'm getting a bit more overall output.

I think if the 8 was 12 and I had to cut the low end I'd still have enough top end without dropping the mid range.

All in all besides the gain in overall output the response is close. I don't think I could pick which is which blind if the volume was matched.

Well it's sealed, half the power, a bit more cone area since the 8 was almost a 10, it's a "sound quality sub".

Well it's killing the DD. The DD didn't move the wipers or the steering wheel. The ID does. Now it's not bouncing them off the windshield but the DD didn't do anything.

This thing just keeps getting better.
