Running a 2ohm stable mono amp at 1.5ohm?

I have a profile 600msx amp which the manual says minimal ohm resistance level is 2 ohms, would it even work and what would be the side effects of running the amp at 1.5ohms?

Side effects of running the amp at 1.5 ohms would more than likely just be the amp shutting off / going into protect mode nonstop. Would be quite annoying..

what does your electrical look like? meh, at 600w i wouldnt worry about it.

Also, after box rise, and imp rise, i doubt your amp would see a 1.5 ohm load, it should see quite a ways higher than that. I think you would be fine.

I think it also depends on how well the amp is built.. my concept 2400 amp is stable at 1 ohm but i ran it all day at .67 without it gettin hot, but ive seen people with cheap amps running them at their minimal impedance levels and they would smoke in no time.. try it and see if it gets hot i guess?
