Phoenix Gold Rsdc 10" subwoofer on amazon right now for only 70 bucks. Very accurate subwoofer, and handles up to 600 watts rms!!!!

Definitely go with a sealed enclosure, about .9-1.0 cubic feet is what they recommend for a box!!!

Ive heard CDT speakers are good, are their subs?

Im not looking for something extremely loud...just clean and tight

Those CDT's should sound great, they usually make very nice quality products.

I would like to read up more but i don't know where to go for more information

IDQv2 is always a good choice for what it sounds like you are looking for. And they can be found for that price now that the V3 is out.
