I got 2 re 2006 xxx motors laying around the house. Has anyone seen any hybrids from these motors? Considering my options.

what is the ID of the stock coil ? how thick is the topplate ?

Doubt it they use 2 voice coils a super long former and non standerd basket im sure some 1 can rig one up but it wont be cheap you can sendit to re for recones or ask team psi or fi to make it for u

yes they are the new style. I throw the baskets away. I want hybrid but not sure what you can make of these. I want one 18inch that can handle 5k rms daily. My Zapco 9.0 has been modified to 4400rms at 1 ohm and i want to take advantage of it.

I second that.

You threw the baskets away? there connected at the bottom of the top plate as well..... I dont think any standard basket will fit them
