Regular sub mounting vs. inverted

I remember seeing people mounting there subs inverted about ten years ago.

I don't see people doing it any more, maybe for good reason..

just like the fact that I don't see bandpass boxes anymore either.

There is no good reason ...

You shouldn't be able to notice a difference, if you do it will be very minor. By inverting, you'll gain your .1 or whatever your dirvers displacement happens to be. Remember to reverse the polarity. Aesthetics mainly.
