recone for type R

i dont think they can be reconed unless sent back to alpine? if they would even take them

Well as stated in some other thread's I don't believe they have a recone for the Type R. If they did it would cost just as much as the sub itself would new. Have you tried getting in contact with Alpine about it?

I bet pete or ttb could recone them, i'm pretty sure he may have before lol... but goodluck with that.

yeah i checked other threads and i think the price is 120 for a recone but for a ghetto rigged install if someone just had parts that fit of decnt quality i was seeing what might be available. last time i reconed something was long ago RCF L15 p540s i used to use 4 inch voice coils i had 12 i bought because mice ate them in a barn.

they dont have a type r recone, and as mentioned already, either sedn to alpine for a recone or find someone one here like woofercooker or one of them and im sure they can work something out with ya

i m am pm team psi and woofer cooker but put this up incase someone found an online place with parts. Who else recones on this site? I was thinking it may be worth it to start doing it local around here the one guy i knew who used to do most everyones pa stuff around here is retiring
