I have a 12, but I think that I want to go with 2 10s. I may buy 4 10s from a friend for 150, but I want to see what my other options are. Thanks
you do realize that there's more you should know about a sub than its diameter right?I don't want 4. I said that I want 2 lol...my friend will sell me 4 for $150, but I don't really want to buy them. SO, anyone have 2 10s for $100?
Jesus christthere is a guy selling what rashadd? I don't understand your post at all.
For $100 shipped, I don't think you can possibly get louder or sound better than that sub...I could be wrong, but...not by much, plus I'm sure you wouldn't mind showing off your 18inch sub to your friends/girls loloh, sorry, I'm obviously not very car audio savvy. I have an suv so I bet I could fit it. I would have my dad make a box for it.
I'm sorry but your dad likely doesn't know what he's talking about...the only difference between different size subs, is that there will be slight differences in their specs, such as sensitivity (better on bigger subs), mms (heavier cone because its bigger), and fs (bigger sub means lower resonant frequency meaning it'll sound better at lower frequencies than a sub with higher fs) mainly. Other than that its all about cone area and power, I gaurantee if you sat in my car you wouldn't think twice about getting that sub, you'd probably go ahead and pick up two or three of themyea, I don't know. My dad said that 18's hit lows, but he said 2 12's or 2 10's hit hard.
