BL is very important in a sub meant for burping at or near enclosure tuning, which is what any real SPL sub is meant for. If you mean just a street beater playing music, it becomes less of an issue. ciaonzo provided some good info in this thread, nice job man.

i have done on a few subs but more of a daily /spl sub.
