Project F-150 BOX BUILD

i think bones22 did a downfiring install, i'll hit him up and get some input.
Yea man, ask him what he thinks about the stealth build and let me know what he thinks, or redirect him here. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

LOL, good observation, but i gots some paper for one box and the rest of my current xtra paper is goin to books for this semester. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif
I see all that money go down the drain for books, and I think," Man that could of got me 2 RD Audio Alpha 12s." lol
Meh, money well spent IMO. Trust me with todays tech, you will need all the education one can gather. Your doing it right, so don't kick yourself when spending on some books, although they are a little pricey.

Good luck on the build!

So Ive decided to go with the stealth set up. Hopefully it will be finished by this weekend or

early next week. I will post back on here what a difference itll make seein my current subs only have a 1.5cu ft sealed box each lol.

just checking this out after seeing your pm

downfiring can be great in some cases. you may lose a little on the meter but they sound great.

downfiring give yourself at least 3.5" from the floor up.

depending on how much space you have the only other thing that may be a problem is you should really use a loading board (false floor)

i cant read through all the thread right now but let me know if you have any other questions and ill answer them

x2 down firing can be good as long as loading is correct. Try to put a little more space between the subs and floor as well as have a loading floor as bones said. put that port firing toward the passenger side though, it has been found to be the loudest in single cabs.

So, like reverse the box, make it taller, and separate the subs a bit lol

Ok on with the pics
