Meh, money well spent IMO. Trust me with todays tech, you will need all the education one can gather. Your doing it right, so don't kick yourself when spending on some books, although they are a little pricey.LOL, good observation, but i gots some paper for one box and the rest of my current xtra paper is goin to books for this semester. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif

x2 down firing can be good as long as loading is correct. Try to put a little more space between the subs and floor as well as have a loading floor as bones said. put that port firing toward the passenger side though, it has been found to be the loudest in single cabs.just checking this out after seeing your pm
downfiring can be great in some cases. you may lose a little on the meter but they sound great.
downfiring give yourself at least 3.5" from the floor up.
depending on how much space you have the only other thing that may be a problem is you should really use a loading board (false floor)
i cant read through all the thread right now but let me know if you have any other questions and ill answer them
So, like reverse the box, make it taller, and separate the subs a bit lolx2 down firing can be good as long as loading is correct.
