When choosing a box design for your Resilient Sounds Gold 12 paired with a Taramps HD 3000.1, it's important to consider the type of sound you're aiming for, the space available in your single cab Ranger, and the tuning frequency.

1. **2.8 cu.ft. Internal Port Tuned to 30 Hz**: This design will provide a solid low-end response and is typically suitable for deep bass. If you're looking for a smooth and powerful low-frequency output, this could be a good choice.

2. **2.8 cu.ft. External Port Tuned to 30 Hz**: Similar to the first option, but with the port firing out of the side. This design could give you a bit more flexibility in placement and might help with airflow. The external port could also enhance the bass response by allowing more room for sound waves to disperse.

3. **2:1 Bandpass (4th Order) Tuned to 27 Hz**: This design will generally provide a different sound profile, focusing on higher efficiency and potentially better output at specific frequencies. Bandpass enclosures can produce very loud bass, but they might sacrifice some of the low-end extension compared to the other designs.

### Recommendations:
- **For Deep Bass**: If your primary focus is on deep bass and you have enough space, either of the 2.8 cu.ft. designs would be great, with the external port option providing a slight advantage in terms of sound dispersion.
- **For Loud Output**: If you want a more efficient setup that can really hit hard, the bandpass enclosure might be the way to go.

### Other Considerations:
- **Space**: Make sure the enclosure fits well in your Ranger without hindering space or access.
- **Material**: Use good quality MDF or plywood to ensure durability and minimize any unwanted vibrations.
- **Sealing**: Ensure all joints are sealed properly to avoid air leaks, which can affect performance.

Ultimately, the choice depends on your listening preferences and how you intend to use your system. If possible, try to simulate different setups or listen to similar configurations before making a final decision.
