Summer 09 Integra re up...... 15'' RE SEXXX build.

My SE 12 is no longer containing my interest so I am moving up to a custom built 15'' by David at Team PSI. It will reuse my motor with a new basket and what I believe are XXX soft parts. Sub is leaving my house tomorrow so this is going to be a little here, a little there type of build. To keep me busy during the turnaround time on the sub I am going to be doing the "Big 3" with 4awg and deadening the hatch/trunk and doors.

Sub amp will be the same 1208d Hifonics at 1ohm for 1100ish watts.

My Infinity coax in the back and Phoenix Gold comps in the front are powered by my Alpine V12 MRV 540.

PG tweeters are gross looking so i turned them into Ninja-Tweeters...

And the aging 9883............... I hope to replace this crust within the next week or so with a 9857, 9885, 9886, or a 9887. I am just sick of it. It is like falling apart and I need a change.......

Pics are fixed.

Car did a 139.9db on UNK's 2 step. My battery was done when I went to try my peak hz so I never got to figure out what it truly peaked at.

The rubber ring on the radio's knob is falling off. To be honest the interface is just old and out dated.

The box is 2 cubes to 33hz after sub displacement. 30''x13.5''x15.5''. If anyone wants it let me know. I am in GA and will let it go cheap. It is a nice box. My first but it is legit by many's standards.

For the fifteen I am going to do a sealed box and a ported box in the low 30s with a 6'' Aero.

I am pumped.

the 9883 is a nice deck, i dont care for ipods.

it would be nice if you found a matching alpine, that amp is sick!

Thanks dude. I think the amp is a 2001/2002 alpine. It is prefect except it has a few scratched and is missing the set screws. I got it off CL for $150 locally and when I got there I started freaking out because I had no idea it was so big.

I was trying to trade some kid my 1208D for his M1000 because he needed to run at one ohm and I had one dual four sub so I guess it is best that I didnt.......

I used to think that the IPOD feature on alpines was amazing untill I tried a Compact Disc in my car. Alpines sound like ass when you use ipods haha. I need to start doing MP3/ACC CDs for sure. I just hope my deck doesn't start skipping.

I just got the last of the terminals I needed to do the Big 3 with the extra 4 gauge I had around.

I will finish that up tomorrow and throw pics up.
