Post your home audio setups. Here is mine.

So? They are a great price, say 200$ plus Actual shipping and they are yours. Its kinda hard to pass them up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
I know... That is the problem. I'll let you know what I decide.

just thought you would be interested.

If you find some 802D or 801D then I would be interested.

I'm not going to be in the market for new mains for a long time. But, when I am I might look more into Dali & PMC.

well if they are full range you dont ned to do much from what i have heard.
for the fronts i could always just buy one of the dayton 2 way crossovers.
It's not that easy...I have been in contact with Bob from CSS about building a 5.1 setup with just with FR125s. He said I cannot just add drivers...(I wanted 2 FR125s for L,C,R and 1 FR125 for RL, RR)...He said there are comb filter issues and cancellation. Good luck though.

A real solution, I would like...but he didn't seem to be a big fan of my idea...even though I'd have to buy 8 of his drivers.

I am still trying to figure out how to do this...He said if I make L , R a dipole and maybe chose the widerange for the rears I'd have better results. I am sure joetama can give you a better answer.

The only experience we have with multiple FRs is bipole oriented with one front and one rear firing. With both firing front there will be some cancellation or comb filtering of the higher frequencies and you may not like that. It could work OK for the center if they wer e angled out a little to increase disperion. Another option might be to do the LR as 1.5 way with rolling one driver off to avoid the cancellation.
I have no idea what a 1.5 is...plus, I am not sure of this driver firing forward and driver firing backward.

so what would i need?

for a center i would do i box but 2 sealed chambers. for fr/fl and rr/rl i would just do 1 per box.

how would there be cancelation?

Meh, I'm more of a simple 2-Way kinda guy.

You would have to put the fullrange drivers very close together or in the high end you could have some issues.

A simple 2-Way with a factory crossover might be your best bet.

Look at some of the projects on PE, there would be a start.

See, bob at CSS said they should wedge away from each other. I am now confused.
