Post your home audio setups. Here is mine.

I do have a pad, but did't use it. It ended up mating very well in output with the 4 TBs. Well, I could stay at 3k and just make it a 3rd or 4th order. This is why I haven't made one yet lol. I need to speak to others with more experience using this tweeter.
Let me know what you find.

I am thinking about using them in a 3-Way design with the free CSS drivers that I got.

What is the model, age, and condition of them?
Because, this is rather tempting... I don't need them but hmmmm....
They are from the early 80's, but they were factory redone in the early/mid 90's. They are the black sock, medium oak frames, socks are in good condition, no rips or anything, the base could use a new coat of paint, but thats nothing that can't be fixed for 4$. The frames are in good shape, typical wear on them but nothing out of the ordinary on them.

They are boxed up currently, but if your serious I'll pull them out and get some good photos for you.

Might be able to go a bit lower on the price for you, but I need the money so my loss is your gain on this one...

See I don't know what I would do with them or put them. That is my big problem.
So? They are a great price, say 200$ plus Actual shipping and they are yours. Its kinda hard to pass them up. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

how much did yours cost?
and im sure cutting 32 holes plus the ports was pretty annoying.

thats what i meant by elaborate
The lines cost just under 2 bills to build. The center was under 1 bill to build. The Yamaha was around 5. The sonys I use for surrounds are so old, I can't remember what I paid, but they were cheap. I put the most money in the substage. I spent 9 bills total on it. The sub was expensive because of the amount of drivers I needed to get the output I wanted in the IB, plus an amp with some oomph. That still puts me well under 2k for the 5.1 sound setup. I know whether or not something is expensive is highly subjective, but that's no where near what a lot of these people have spent. So in relation to that I consider it a cheap system. I know to many it would seem like a lot to spend though.

Cutting 56 holes was a bit tedious //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif It was a really fun project though.

dont have the patience. i might if i have to.

ok lets start. gonna diy it using all 3/4ths mdf cuz i have a bit of it available.

what driver should i use for a center channel?

i remember iamdeman recommended a tang band full range but i will probably use those for rears.
