Eh, for now I'm either going to go with a Yamaha or Pio Elite receiver and some nice speakers. Still, for whatever reason I'm in Cinci, going to stop by and listen.

Getting the speakers out away from the TV will drastically improve the stereo image and will improve the overall balance.

Hrm...it's tough, with the way the room is set up, you can see in the first pic...if I move the front right over any more then it is, it'll be just floating in the middle of the room, and the closet is right next to the left front.

That's one bad thing about this room...it's got a few areas where it's oddly shaped.

Just try moving them forward and out 6 inches or so if you can.

You might see a difference from that little change.

I can probably pull that off. I'll give it a go tomorrow after work, see how it sounds.

so would those full ranges be a decent choice?

cause if im doing a 2 way i only want to do it for the center channel. id like to keep the others just 1 driver

and would would be deep bass with tinny highs? im assuming i would have to get titanium or aluminum tweeters. no ribbons they are too expensive.
