Post your home audio setups. Here is mine.

so would those full ranges be a decent choice? cause if im doing a 2 way i only want to do it for the center channel. id like to keep the others just 1 driver

and would would be deep bass with tinny highs? im assuming i would have to get titanium or aluminum tweeters. no ribbons they are too expensive.
Did you state a budget for this project?

trying to keep it around 100 and i can diy it so like 100-120.
im trying to get a list now so i can see how much i have to sell or work to get the money.
I'd save up and wait until you can budget more. Just use what you have for now. You won't get much worthwhile for 100 - 120. Unless you want to do the center and wait to do the others as you get money.

i guess but i was gonna try and get a list of everything i was buying so i would know how much to save and not spend on crap i dont need. and sell stuff i dont need for that matter.

i was actually looking at that before. i love the way it looks and i have heard that hivi makes some good shit.

well i guess your right. just save up and then start.

i think im gonna start selling all the shit i dont need,

want to buy some canton silk tweets?

they actually sound pretty good.

and i bet on that 5.1 set if i bought just the parts it would come out to around~350

They do look nice and simple. Hi-Vi is a respectable brand of drivers.

Unfortunately the only thing I need right now is 16 more 4" TB drivers and 4 more Dayton planars and someone to help me build a kick *** crossover for the combo lol.

lol
thats some crossover.

if you send me a parts list and a layout i could build it for you

have too much time on my hands lol.
Actually the parts list and design iswhat I need help with lol. I need someone familiar with this planar more than I who may know just where it should be set. The TB woofer will mate up just about anywhere.

im not sure if i posted this already, but i will give it another shot.

the sub is my basement, Dayton DVC series 15" subwoofer(600wrms) powered ny a dayton 240wrms plate amplifier(ya thats right) at 4 ohms. 3.8 cubes tuned to 28-30hz. i thought this was loud, but this box just got wrecked because my basement flooded so im in the proccess of building a new box

the new box is 3.8 cubes with roughly 53" of port tuned to 30hz. the last box was made the RE calulator so i dont know how accurate it was, it could have been 3.4 tuned to 32 hz for all i know.

this sub is actually pounding pretty good, but with my camera the sound is terrible so bear with me

this is the box before i painted it
