Plasti-Dip on Sub Enclosure?

Awhile back I Plasti-Dipped my car's rims, and it turned out pretty well. I still have a couple cans of the stuff left and I'm curious as to knowing if I could use it on my sub box? I didn't know if the low frequencies would cause it to do anything since it is a spray on rubber. It would look a lot better than the MDF look....

Should be fine, assuming the stuff is made to adhere to wood (never tried it before).
