heres a little side project im working on the motor is from a rockford T2 10 D4, they have no mounting holes on the top of the motor, instead they are on the bottom for the wrap around basket, here's what i did.

started the holes for alignment on the drill press

drilled it out, and tapped the threads in.

test fit, i didnt do too bad, will have to drill the basket holes over 1/32 or less to get it tight, but it'll work great.

not that bad looking either
