Well Ductape can be a useful tool, it gained me 2dB overnight, but it's ugly. So today I took my door pannel off to start on a design for Flat Door panels that will look sleek, add some dB's and make it easier for me to "build my box into the car". I plan on fiberglassing the top of the box and the back deck together and extending the face of the box out to the doors, might some other projects too. My goal is to have the trunk seeled from the box face back by the april 5th show and to have the door pannels done. Fiberglassing the top of the box to the back deck is weather dependant, im also doing this in a way so its easy to search my car, I can see a border patrol officer taking a knife to my surround to see whats in the box. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

I'll start with the car as it is know, I put this enclosure in Feb 18. and taped it all up on the 21st.

Pioneer Premier TS-W8102SPL. the big boy, next season im hoping to get a true 5K-10K amp to throw at it. i have a second Kinetik 2412 being shipped out tommorow hopefully, i'll probably make a nice battery box to hold 4, MDF with the word Kinetik, mabe the monster too cut into it, carpeted, and lighted with a neon in the box behind the words.

Im good with a sabre saw.

More pictures, fiberglass is probably going down tommorow. bought 20'4" of 1/0 stinger for a second run front to back, and i have a second kinetik 2412 on the way.

Started yesterday on the fiberglass top, then i ran another run of 1/0ga stinger power wire, that made a noticeable difference from the XXX 2ga i had in there already.

then i put boards under the box instead of the the corner cushions, i then filled under the box with great stuff (need more). i put bondo over the fiberglass, pictures will be up later today of that.

How do you like that beast of a sub? Is it pretty musical? Seems it would be just for comps and ****.

i got a 145.4 termlab at a comp, that was with lots of duct tape. im probably going to throw some carpet on the top and sides when i get it bondo'd and fibered the rest of the way. i've put three layers of bondo, sanded in between, im waiting for this one to harden a little more then im going to sand it for the last time, im pulling everything out of the trunk, hopefully i can take out about 10 extra feet of 1/0 and that should help the numbers, im also going to build a 4 battery rack. i have one more kinetik 2412 on the way and if this guy comes through and buys my 2 subs and a buddy buys my memphis i'll have enough for a second battery by the end of the week,

and hopefully the trunk will be done by tonight, im probably going to have to leave most of the stuff long though. i have no ring terminals and on a sunday around here there impossible to get, even set screw style stuff.

and the sub is great daily, it sometimes smells a bit but its more than likely just that it only has like 30 hrs and its a special ceramic coated coil.

i tried to pop it over winter break it smelled and i let it beat 10 minutes until the amp went into protect for low voltage, thats why i figure its the ceramic, it never smokes and the smell doesnt get worse, plus i guess im only putting 1500 w rms to it???!!!
