PG Octane R 9.0:5. (just a sub for now)

Ok so I picked up this amp and a 12" kicker solo baric in a ported box for $100...not bad as its all in good shape...this is my question though, and bare with me as I am fairly new with audio. This is a 5 chanell amp, so can i be alright just hooking it up to this sub for now? Also, me and my pop just biult a custom sealed box for my car its made for 2 12 inch subs (regular round ones). So with that in mind, what are your opinions as to what I should do with what i got. Its all going in a 91 bmw 325i, I have two jl audio (low end) 12`s in my box with an earthquake 700BX running them. That may not be enough info, but I thought I`d ask...Thanks for any input
