Good for him, too bad the 5 I tech every weekend from the random rec ballers who bought there gun off the internet have told me otherwise.
If an Ion is the best gun you ever owned, I would suspect you havent owned many guns

if u arent a tard an ion will last a while..... the dm4 is the best gun ive owned but i still like my slg. but for the money the ion was awesome after we put a bolt, qev and tboard in it and i had the dwell and such set awesome. only thing i ever teched on his was the bolt when it needed lube. now my autocockers always needed love but shot oh so nice just because they were heavy mainly. my friends mini shot like crap to me and his ego did too. ive teched alot of guns becaus ethats what i liek to do... also when i play i shoot around 4 pods a game if we are doing a league. our field is psp ramp capped at 13.3 i believe tho

How many newbies do you know that know how to properly take care of a marker?

Im sure the ION was awesome after you basically replaced nearly every part on it, but seriously how much money did you invest into that money pit to make it half way decent?

I got back into the sport with a mini, played back 5 years ago or so befor I did stereos with electro spyders, and it shot nice, but it is nowhere near as smooth as a DM.

Egos are awesome markers, they are SOOO reliable and need VERY little maintainence plus they have LCD screen stock, but they do kick and dont shoot smooth. I had an ego8 but traded it at the beginning of the year for a dm9 and havent looked back since.

I am playing a CFOA tourney this weekend, capped at 10.5bps Joy

dang it was 13 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif yea i like smooth markers thats why i love the dm4. i think we put like 175 extra into the ion. but it had EVERY mode and shot very nice but it was still an "ion. i hate my friends ego and the mini. for 170 my slg rips and it just needs lube after everyday of play and its good to go, lil loud but oh well.

So for 175 extra, plus what 150 for the marker originally, so your already over 300 which puts you in the neighborhood buying a shocker, dm7, or any number of MUCH better markers that you can resell for alot more than you can an ion.

OP once again, just buy a 98c

I been trying to pick up a Uld one for like 250, but the idiots on pbn overvalue there pm when I can buy a DM7 for 350 lol

If you only shoot 400 balls in 4 hours of playing you are better off with a tippmann 98, with my Dm9 I shoot a hopper and 2 to 3 pods a game, which is like 700 balls in less than 5 mins lol

Like I said the place I go to is indoors, and you HAVE to buy there paint, which is $7 per 100. So your little trigger happy game woulda cost $49 lol. But yeah, the games are only like 10 mins tops each, brief wait, next game etc. I dont shoot ALOT, I only shoot targets Im pretty sure i can hit, and it usually only take 2-5 shots, and the odd cover fire I guess

As for the 700 balls in a game.. Its called speedball for a reason. Yes its a waste of paint and money, but man is it fun!

And yeah I can see 700 being fun, Ive shot 100 in a game before defending a building, thats just cause it was like 20vs 20 and they just kept coming lol, rental BT-4 held up strong lol
