Opinions on Ultimate T3 500D?

Hey, does anyone know if the regular ultimate warranty is good for product being sold on ebay? Is the dude selling on ebay affiliated with Ultimate Sound? Have you been able to bench this amp yet? I am looking seriously at either buying a T3 500D or T3 1000D.

I'm still waiting on the amps to get here. The Canada Post's website says the package was dropped off on 4-10-07, but no new entries since. I'm gonna call them if it hasn't moved by Thursday. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif

I don't think the amps have a valid factory warranty. I don't think he's affiliated with the company, either. Send him a message through ebay and ask him.

hayhurst, i ordered from him too, one of th 1000d ones. mine was shipped the same day as yours to florida and i haven't gotten it yet either. please post if you hear anything on yours. he has good feedback so i'm guessing it has to be because of where it's shipped from.

The Canada Post website only shows the package was given to the Post for shipping on 4-10-07. I called the Post and told them there are no updates at all on the website and I want to know what the hell is going on.

They said that because it is being shipped Expideted USA, they are bypassing all their normal scanning/tracking procedures to get it to me ASAP. They said the scheduled date of arrival to me was 4-20. Well, guess what: As of today, 4-22, the package has not been received. They said if I don't get it by 4-20 to call them and they'll try to find it.

Unbelievable.

i haven't received mine either. this guy has sold to the us, and has good feedback so i'm not thinking he's a scammer. hoping that it's just because of the distance. i think these will have to go thru customs too. hoping to see it on monday. please keep posting if you hear anything else. i'm in florida so mine will probably be days behind yours. i'll post up when mine comes in. have you been able to find anyone who has used these amps?

has anyone on here ordered from canada that is in the us? does it change hands from canada post to usps at some point or are they affiliated with some other shipping company? who is it that drops it off at your door?

Great amps but don't let the temp go past 45-46 or poof!!!

Pop off the back cover and run fans if you can.

I do and haven't had anymore trouble.

thanks volonau, was worried alittle about them cause they aren't sold here in the us. the few people i have found that have them in canada have had mixed reviews on them. seems problems are mainly from trying to run them below 2ohm or heat related. i have been working on setting up some type of fan on these. just haven't figured out how i wanna mount them yet. have several computer cooling fans laying around and was going to use one or two of them.

ok, i'm going to run 2 dvc 4ohm's for now so i'm stuck at 4 ohm for now. might go to 2ohm later.

Yeah, I'm going to run them at 2 Ohms on one 2 Ohm DVC sub per amp. Not sure how to handle the heat thing in the summer. I'll be sure not to get them too loud for too long when it's hot out.

I'm calling Canada Post tomorrow to find out where my f.uc.king amps are!
