d.amnit!!IT'S HERE!!!!!!!! man this thing is heavy. i'm liking it. hopefully will be able to start my install this weekend. will post pics later.
How efficient are these amps(current draw?) Did you notice the THD on the t3-1000? Did you test @ 14.4v? I am very interested in your reply!!I just got finished doing extensive tests on both the T3-1000d and the T3-500d. The T3-1000d is two 500's in one case.
A pair of 500's bridged will do 1 ohm.
A 1000 will not do 1.5ohm or below.
power at 11.8v
T3-500x4ohm=500w
T3-1000x4ohm=1000w
T3-500x2ohm=900w
T3-1000x2ohm=1800w
T3-500x1ohm=1575w
T3-1000x1ohm=3150w but goes into protection
2 bridged T3-500's into 1ohm=3150w
Here are some 12"'s for stupid cheap. I'm going to be using one 500D to power each sub at 2 Ohms for 900W RMS per sub, for 2 subs total.volonau, thanks so much for the benchtest results.... these things are INSANE for the price! i'm so glad i got it. can see now that when i finish paying for all this stuff i'm gonna have to get some better subs. these aren't going to last long i'm afraid.
A couple of Mach 5 MAW15's would be a good if you have the room. I just finished testing the 12.volonau, thanks so much for the benchtest results.... these things are INSANE for the price! i'm so glad i got it. can see now that when i finish paying for all this stuff i'm gonna have to get some better subs. these aren't going to last long i'm afraid.
