opinions on edead sound deadener

I used edead on my rear quater panels and second skin on my door panels

The second skin is where it was a year ago

The edead is coming off and has left some of it goo behind. I did use the newest edead also.

When you handle the second skin you can instantly tell its a better made product. The edead feels cheap and extremly flimsy. The second skin is stiffer and feels superior.

Its worth the money for the second skin

its all the same thing, they all absorb noise. i know the saying "you get what you pay for". but not with this.
they're not made to absord noise //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

I would never touch edead... again.

I have some edead here that someone gave me because it sucks so bad. I tried sticking it to my kitchen counter and it came up with little to no effort. I also tried sticking a new piece to ITSELF....it came apart almost as easily. Don't waste your money, but bulk packs of Dynamat Extreme off of Ebay for $120 shipped.

edead rocks, i have it on my doors and hatch, solid as hell, as a matter of fact, i am going to down a knock test on my doors thats edead. and the panel without edead.
i say get edead, cant go wrong, trust me, had mines for a year and still holding up.
That's not a reliable outcome. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

That's absolutely not true - they demonstrably aren't all the same and none of them are intended to absorb noise. They'd actually be about the worst absorbers you could design.

Never ask questions about

Sound Deadening (Especially not about eDead)

Capacitors

Sony Xplod, Pyle, Boss etc.,

And AQ or Sundown is becomming a hot topic now as well.

Personally I used the eDead on some flat surfaces with some 3M super 77 spray adhesive. I laid my carpet back over it as well. Only problem I had with it was thickness. I had to triple up in some areas, but that's not really a huge problem to me. I am really unsure as to what others are looking for in the product.

Next car/build, I will do maybe Raamat for the whole build. 60 something ft2 goes a longer way than I figured.

Amps are all the same thing too. They all increase power.

So therfore a 500 wate tube amplifier will sound exactly same as a 100 wat class D damplifier. Why spend the money on a more expensive amp? There is no difference whatso ever. You may as well get your amp from the swap meet. hmm... Maybe home depot has somthing similar to amps that we can use in cars..
