opinions on 15's

My ext cab has 20 cubes.. If you do why not 4 18's.

Id love to see how you did it.

From your perspective you want to fit 2 15's behind the seats and extend the port between the seats or mount the subs in the middle of the seats and port behind the seats.

I can say this box will definitely defy sound and physics.

After your build is done you might end up getting the noble piece prize for discovering infinite space.

OK, I stand corrected, you can probably fit enough space for 15's, taller passengers may not be terribly comfortable riding with you.
The Fu is popular. Incriminator, Sundown, Fi, SSA, DD, and Atomic all sell quality woofers. Pay attention to mounting depth since some may be pretty deep even if you can come up with 14".

Assuming you're going with 62X 18 front and back you'll want to double up layers on at least the baffle side, possibly the back and definitely add some bracing. Panel that big will flap around like a sail.
finally someone listens to what im telling them about how much space I can get out of it. I don't have time to build the box with my job taking up a lot of time so ill get a shop to build it

lol if I do get the noble peace prize ill make sure I give a shoutout to all the people that told me 2 15s wont fit behind my seat

Dude your insane. This is how id sit with a 62x44x14 box

Seats are Literally vertical with 0 degrees of being able to recline. And my "legs" are 39" long from foot to hip.

well first off I have more room then that and I can recline my seat a little I have 10in at the headrest wile reclined

holy **** after looking in the back of that cab i know there's no way you're going to get 20 cubes, or fit two 15's in an ideal enclosure.

if you're that dead set do a wall or blowthrough

I cant blowthrough and I don't think I need 20 cubes for 2 15s any so why does it matter? and I have more room then that as I have a diff year model truck lol not the same

you obviously dont understand the amount of volume you're going to lose due to wood thickness, port, bracing, subs, baffle thickness, etc.

looking at 99-06 single cabs tells me you're way wrong. take pictures of your truck and prove me wrong.

if you cant get loud enough off 2 beefy 12s in a single cab you're doing something wrong

i stand by my statement that two 15's wont fit with proper airspace unless you do a wall or blowthough. prove me wrong and ill happily admit it. until then, good luck?

If you want to buy some serious 15's, would you be interested in these for $1,250 shipped? I put them in my 86 Pontiac Fiero when everyone said I couldn't. Look up what that car looks like.

They're custom Fi BTL N3's with DD composite cones & caps

no your right that is what it looks like no doubt about that but look at the picture and tell me if I take the console out I have all the depth I need and yes it will be a wall but not really? it will come up pretty high and if it goes all the way to the top I wont mind plus im taking the plastics out for just a little more room but not much

and let me ask you how 2 beefy 12s and 2 15s arnt different other then the box size being like 1 or 2 cubes smaller

I know what the car looks like ive been following your thread where you said you were parking it but man I would love to buy them but I cant anyway Im no where close to starting my build maybe a month away before I start so I cant buy right now. I also only want about 1500rms per sub so I don't have to do a huge electrical upgrade
