One higher quality 12" or two lower quality 10"?

Not really, I had a single 10 that had people looking around to see where I had the other subs hidden.

Why not go 15 sealed I tested my skar vvx 15 on a sealed box and it still rocked, major diff on 2 10s vs 1 15"

****, now you've got me second guessing myself. Ordered a single SD10 last night. Was going to run it to a matched ported box. From what I saw on youtube, this set up looks like it would rattle everything nicely. My buddy way back when had some 15s and it wasn't really my thing. Looking for some good thump I can feel, not bass so loud that it drowns everything else out. I wanna feel it in the car but not shake my neighbor's windows, know what I mean.

i never ran 10s myself they always just seemed weak get like 3 12s

im running 2 8's right now on ~600W and im relativly happy. only thing i would change would be the tuning of my box. i would have went 30hz instead of 32 hz. currently getting electrical sorted to try and run 1 ohm load on a ZX-750 amp. should do ~1K watts or so.
