Odd Sub Problem....

WTF are you guys talking about?
ZacMC: When you eject a CD, your amp is turning off. When you put the CD back in, it's kicking back on.

That's turn-on thump.

No.. WTF are you talking about... The amplifier does not shut off when you eject a CD, the HU is still on, therefore the amplifier should remain on (I have never seen an amp that turns off with a CD ejecting.) He is not talking about turn on thump. He is talking about bass hitting while the volume is at 0, constant pulsating bass, no matter what he does. It sounds like a 100% ground problem or RCA's.

Well that could be it i guess, but it also does it inbetween songs.
I was messing with it today, and it still does it when the vol. is turned all the way down, and if i play a song and turn the vol. down is doesnt do it.

So does that mean is isnt sending any other "clipped signals" since it doesnt do it while im playing a song.

Also i havnt tried any of the siggestions yet because i have been swamped with homework, but hopefully i can today when i get back from class.

It is VERY hard to hear clipping in subsonic tones, you will rarely be able to detect it, especially inside the car with the sub in the trunk. What you say is happening is NOT clipping, clipping is not constant bass....
