loud pop...

just installed the new system. everything is great except for when i turn on the car there is a loud bass hit that scares the hell out of me. would anyone know what the problem might be?

I had that amp, I had no turn on/off pop issues-nor heard others with it- it could be your headunit...in any manner it can be alleviated by throwing a delay on it.

double check your grounds, also double check your rca cables, i had the same problem then found out it was my rca's
