No sub output at all

So I just hooked up my new system everything is brand new and im not getting any sound at all. I have a 2000 watt power acoustik amp hooked up to 2 kicker L5s with 4 awg power and ground wires. Ive checked everything amp powers on fine tried different subs tried different RCA cables and a different RCA input device and nothing. It cant be something with the amp its brand new i checked all the fuses and none are blown so i dont know whats left to check

yes my outputs are on i made sure to check that but just incase i plugged my ipod right into the RCA jacks with the plug that converts it into a 3.5 mm headphone jack and that didnt work either

Do you have the rca's plugged into the right outputs on your cd player?

check if its on slave, needs to be on master mode.

i did that not long ago lol.

yes they are pluged into the right outputs on the radio and the amp is on master

i dont have any other amps to try it with but whats a DOA? =p i dont know a lot of the terminology

Is the amp turning on? I know that obvious but maybe the remote wire has a bad connection.

Did you check the main inline fuse?

Good grounds?

DOA = dead on arrival

x2 on ground

ooo it could possibly be dead idk how i would check that the ground is good its on bare metal attached to where the seatbelt meets the chassis of the car and the amp turns on with a green light

You might wanna try to move the ground somewhere else.

i had it somewhere else before and then the protect light came on so then i moved it to where it is no the wire isnt very long so i dont have much to work with

im just gonna send the amp back and see if they will replace it with a new one or fix it i sent the RMA to the site today
