Newellzie's practical sq build in a 07 g6

Like toward the trunk in the passenger or 180 toward the back seat? I'm assuming trunk but want to make sure and thanks for the input!

Also to your statement about the water in doors up ^ there, I am equally surprised, it surprised me at how much happened even in just a week and a half. It's crazy.

if you decide to upgrade the xovers are the weak point. they arent bad but they have some excellent passives on the market. alot of people bash CDT but my eurosports where a **** good set..
Yeah I love thee speakers, there better then the Rockfords I had, and I was going to get the euro's but a guy was getting rid of these for cheap so I was like, meh I'll save the money :p. The one set costed me $250 cdn and the other $200, so that's cheap! But good to know, so your saying swap the crossovers? For which ones, any recommendations?

Also what are you running now? Did you sell your euro's?

Either towards trunk or towards rear or up, just as far in the rear corner as possible. It will be louder with SQ.

You can easy build a 2nd order with some very transparant caps. You dont need a fancy xover just a few parts soldered on a basic board.

You will hear much more detail but they cost!

About midrange. If you can afford the silver caps get them so I can drool.. Lol
Oh ok ik how to solder but never have made xovers before. I have some made for home audio, but I'll have to look into it, for now I'm just going to stay happy cause I also don't feel like taking apart my dash again... I did it like 7 times in the past month lol (for various reasons). But I don't think I have the spare cash to lay 300-700 dollars on just the caps aha, I'm sure they would sound crystal clear tho :p I think then I would need better tweets and woofers Aha. I'm new to this obvs but if I bought new caps like you said, I could just use the same X over board and coils right and just replace the CDT caps? Or should I start fresh with a new board?

You can use the board if the spacing allows it

So I did this and I think I have a slight improvement in both sq and SPL on high bass notes, but the real low ones, I feel like it's just lacking in just a small way. Ik ported would fix this but I'm worried if it will ruin it when I listen to classical music.

A question you def can answer is, I'm running a box that is a bigger spec then the w6 is supposed to be for sealed. I made it to ported spec and then didn't cut the port hole. Would I be better off running a smaller sealed enclosure? I think I have to rebuild anyway cause I think I'm a little small for the ported box spec due to some in project changes, however my box design is also too basic which I learned after from looking into these forums. It's a short port length and it doesn't have a angle piece of wood in the corner to ease the flow. I can live with it, it is loud. I just think that it could be louder. Actually it's more I just want to feel it a little more

If you want the same cossober points yes
Ahh ok well the cheaper caps are reasonable, I might consider it early. I even have spare xovers to test them on aha so I hate to bother you guys with a stupid question, but I count 5 on my board, am I right, 1-8.2, 2-10, 1-0.82 and 1-1.5? Am I to look out for somethin, the 10's are smaller then the 8.2, why is this? And some say met one says mpt.

I'm totally game for trying this but clearly I have a lot to learn aha, thanks so much for your advice I seriously appreciate it a lot!
