yes except you'll use all 4 channels of the amp.ya i hear they really come to life with extra power, is my above post correct? thanks for the help
use all 4 channels to the pair of speakers if i want to send a lot of power, or just use 2 channels to have sufficient power correct?yes except you'll use all 4 channels of the amp.
I'd just bridge it completely. The more headroom you have, the cleaner the speakers will sound. Anytime the speakers starts sounding like sh*t is most of the times the amplifier gets stressed and sounds nasty. Having a lot of power on tap will prevent all of this. Just because you have 450 watts rms per speaker doesnt mean you are using all of it at all times.. gain settings will control the amount of power they see. Just turn it up until they start sounding stressed out and stop a few notches before hand, good chance that your ears will tap out before that.use all 4 channels to the pair of speakers if i want to send a lot of power, or just use 2 channels to have sufficient power correct?
ok sweet, ears tapping out is what I'm after some times lol. any good amps that you can recommend in the $200-$400 range? i probably will have it under a seat so i need one that doesnt need a lot of space to breath or gets too hot. unless there is a really decent one that gets warm i might mount it on my subwoofer box next to the subwoofer amp.I'd just bridge it completely. yup. Whatever ohms your speaker is, is what the amp will run at. There's no changing that.ok ill get one of those 3 amps. i would still be running the amp on 4 ohms if i bridge the amp correct?

https://www.amazon.com/Soundstream-TN4-900D-Tarantula-4-Channel-Amplifier/dp/B009NLNY14I'm having a hard time trying to find these amps for sale. are they discontinued? ive found some 800.4 amps but no 900.4.
ok i found that one, id like to compare prices between it and the other two. is the ppi 900.4 the phantom model that ive found for 214 on newegg the correct one? here is the link https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAA7W6418318&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC-_-pla-_-MI+-+Bass+Amplifiers-_-9SIAA7W6418318&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4oGRjKGh2gIVQZF-Ch2vgg0REAkYAiABEgKoAfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
The nvx 800.4 is the correct one. And yes to that ppi you found. I would get the soundstream as it's the cheapest option or get the nvx with some type of discount or coupon from sonic.ok i found that one, id like to compare prices between it and the other two. is the ppi 900.4 the phantom model that ive found for 214 on newegg the correct one? here is the link https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAA7W6418318&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleMKP-PC-_-pla-_-MI+-+Bass+Amplifiers-_-9SIAA7W6418318&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4oGRjKGh2gIVQZF-Ch2vgg0REAkYAiABEgKoAfD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
and for the nvx jad i couldn't find a 900.4, only a 800.4 and a 900.5, is this the correct one here? https://www.amazon.com/NVX-JAD800-4-jad800-4/dp/B00852W0HQ
Just ordered the sound stream. How hard is it to replace a factory amplifier with one of these guys is it just cutting wires and plugging into the new amp?The nvx 800.4 is the correct one. You just leave that alone and find somewhere else to mount your ppi amp. If you ever sell the car you want everything in its original condition.Just ordered the sound stream. How hard is it to replace a factory amplifier with one of these guys is it just cutting wires and plugging into the new amp?
