Those higher end JL shallow mounts look very very nice though. Probably worth the money and likely will hold resale value if you don't abuse/break them. Someone on here posted a build recently using some Earthquake shallow mounts that looked decent.

Also Parts Express may have some decent options these days.... they've had some decent looking offerings in that department in the past.

I have the TW3 12 and I am surprised everyday at how good they sound, while being so shallow in depth. They worth it if your tight on space overall, and your only other option are the under seat amp\sub combo units. My truck only has 5 inches of total depth under the rear seat, and shallow mounts were the only option for me, a traditional sub would not fit.

Most shallow subs sound like garbage. But if you must definitely get the BM MKIV

A few years back I did a build in my 2007 Honda Accord and got a lot of help on here. Now I have a 2014 Ram 1500 4 door and I am looking to get something nice going in it as well. I am getting a box for the subs that fits under the back seat that will require shallow mount subs. Box has .75cuft airspace per sub. I have looked at a few but dont really know enough to make an educated decision and would like some help.
I am looking for 2 shallow mount 10" subs and an amp to match. Looking to stay around $500ish

I bought an Alpine SWR-t12, but they also make a 10" variety of their shallow mount subs with basically the same operational guts:

I just had it installed, but have yet to hear it as the Alpine PXA-H800 DSP I bought is a real PITA to get set up and get operational.

2 bstock Sundown SD series from carcaudiobargain leaves 180 for amp. Could be paired with a Skar rp1500 for about that price
