Newbie- Help choosing between subs

Im sorry if this has been posted, I could not find it. I am having trouble choosing subs, right now the JL W0, 12 inch model and the Rockford R2, 12 inches sound really good. But is there one that is better than the other? The two stores are pushing me to the different subs. I am not looking for the cheapest subs, I would also not like the most expensive ones, that is why it is between these 2 models. What do you guys think? Or do you have another suggestion within about the same price range?

They are both absolute garbage and I'm glad you joined the forum before paying for either of them. How much do you have to spend on a sub? Do you have an amp and enclosure?

This is my thought as well. Would be a much better box volume if you could buy the 12" version of those subs.
