I keep it simple, I'm in no way an expert on T/S parameters, but I'm Learning more and more everyday...Now on the otherhand I'm quite handy in the box building and installation field.

guys why the hate on RE. imagine a group of not so many people making good subs for us.. car audio sure would be different withut RE. whether u like em or not they have made an impact.

bimma and a few other guys. hey make 5000 subs right now. will take u more than 4 months... with unlimited funds/ connections and tools, not including tests, and the design of an actual good woofer

well as a semi-expert in T/S (i've designed a speaker or two.... or 5)

I can tell you that you'd never see that kind of excursion period even in free air unless you went to inaudible frequencies... and you'll loose output if you go free air

you might see it if you go below your port tune... but beyond that (which is a huge output loss) you'll never see it

the reason is simple... they're going about it all the wrong way... high mms and high Bl is not the way to even approach decent efficency

firstly they've had the prototype for well over 10 mths

2ndly... they do NOT make that many subs at one time... that would take them around 5 yrs to sell all of them given who would actually buy these

lastly I could get 5000 subs made in 3 mths...

design and testing is the hard part... building 5000 subs isn't

I am in no way complaining about the release date..Im saying they were on way to much Red Bull when the XXX was designed. Sure it will be cool to look at, but who would want it??

I've heard stories about them taking over 2 months to recone a single brahma. That's just bad business.
