but look at Benz SL55 amg vs ford tuarus..

All Im saying is I think they are making the speakers look more mainstream, All the big woofers are popular (JackHammer, SoloX, Audiobahn) Im not saying they cant perform, Its just most people think bigger is better.

I seriously think RE is gonna try to go mainstream with the new Mx/XXX speakers

And I dont like that, I wanted speakers that arent well known lol

you do realize if an re dealers pops up in your neighborhood, that all price skyrocket. I buy re because its a good deal.. if ya can't buy it direct re=not such a good deal

A dealer JUST popped up in our neighborhood....

And It sucks I cant get direct, I called yesterday.

i was just thinking, the dust caps on your subs should have a nice Bold O in white. It would look beautiful at full excursion. It would be a Trade Mark... O... OLOGY Black hOle.

Gotta say I wholeheartedly agree with this. That to me seems less a failure in customer service and more a completely incapable staff member manning the phones. Sure someone who's not completely knowledgeable about the product they're representing would be sufficient to answer n00b questions (which I am sure they have to contend with). Someone who isn't a novice, however, and is calling to get specs as they pertain to their overall system design (box requirements, power handling RMS + burps, coil weights, etc) is going to be more than a bit peeved at a situation such as that outlined by Feandil.

I needed to know to find out how much it messed with the DD 9515's specs

but I got someone with it done to let me know that the Mms is much heavier for the RE

he couldn't even tell me what the Mms was... or what cone they'd be using...
