Help it’s been 20 years since I got a system

Ok so I’m rebuilding a 2000 bmw 323ci convertible. I was looking at the 8” B2 Rampage subwoofers, I’m not sure which amp I should go with bc I’ve been told everything from 4-8k. I’m also wanting to make sure the mods are of enough quality to match the bass. Any help or info would be great. It seems like every car audio place I go to is just set on pushing the brands that sponsor them or whatever. The place I just left was trying to convince me
Ds18 was just as good as the rampage b2s are and I find that hard to believe. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Nah unless you have the worst enclosure ever. They'll be happy with 1200-1500 each. If you can afford more, go for it, having a butt load of headroom never hurts.
Do the ds18 come close to comparing to the b2 rampage ubwoofers tho? Also is there a certain brand amino should go with? What company in your opinion makes the best midrange speakers?

When you say mid range speakers, are you referring to regular mid range/ mid bass speakers that fill everything between the subs to the tweeters or are you referring to pro audio style mid ranges that don’t do any bass but are loud as hell?
