Test drive a bunch of vehicles and get whatever is reliable and you like to drive. Your '03 Maxima should be a decent trade-in.

I was thinking about trading in my car for an SUV too. I was going to get like a 02-03 Chevy Trailblazer.

If i had the money i'd get the 06 Trailblazer SS. Thats a badass truck.

Almost 400hp and is comfortable as hell. Sat in one at a car show.
